The Shinsoo Empire is located in the southern part of the continent. The inhabitants are involved in trade.
Under the rule of Yoon-Yoing, the eastern Shinsoo trade relations quickly flourished after the collapse of the empire. However, the inhabitants are in constant conflict with the westerners, leading to the cessation of trade routes. When they noticed the threat of the Metin stones, the traders armed themselves.
Their aim is to curb western attacks, reopen trade routes, and unite the entire empire under their control.
The Chunjo Empire is situated in the western part of the continent. It is a theocratic state led by spiritual leaders.
Its foundation is attributed to Yoon-Young, who is the grandnephew of the former emperor. Yoon's wife, possessing immense magical power, early on supported her husband in understanding the threat of the Metin stone. Yoon-Young proposed countermeasures several times but was ignored. Hence, he led his followers in a rebellion against the then unified empire. Even after the empire's demise, Chunjo still engages in open debate with the East and constant conflict with the South.
The inhabitants strive to gain power over the entire continent to put an end to the growing influence of the Metin stone.
The Jinno Empire spans the eastern part of the continent. It is built on military power, governing inhabitants of aggressive, warrior-like nature.
Jinno is led by Ee-Ryoong, the biological son of the last emperor.
He is dedicated to restoring the former empire with the military power at his disposal.
Officially, the Jinno Empire does not acknowledge the significance and fears arising from the Metin stones. However, secretly, Ee-Ryoong attempts to harness the destructive power of the Metin stones for his own military purposes.
